A beautiful 4 bedroom barn conversion
The Barn at Hill House is part of a 300-year old stone built former farm house situated in the village of Elkstones in the Southern Dales area of the Peak District National Park.
As the name suggests it is perched on the side of a hill. This gives it panoramic views across a beautiful valley, known locally as the Secret Valley because it is less well known than some of the tourist honey-pots of the area.

The Barn at Hill House was converted to holiday accommodation in 2015 so it combines the best of traditional character and modern convenience.
It is on one level and is completely independent of the main house having its own entrance, parking area and outside space. The Barn at Hill House has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large open plan living/ kitchen / dining area.
The main attraction of the area is, of course, the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park. There are also many towns, villages and tourist attractions such as Chatsworth and Alton Towers a short drive away.
Royledge Farm is a smallholding nestled in the hills of the Peak District.
We have a small flock of Jacob sheep, the source of our wool that I hand weave for my scarves and other gifts.
My wire artwork is informed by my love of farming, wildlife and the great British
outdoors.
